OFQUAL accredited qualifications can be added on to any of our training courses.
We're passionate about delivering training in an engaging learning environment. Our modern training academy has the latest professional equipment and students have access to a variety of dogs on which to practice the techniques.
To help you decide if we’re the school for you, before enrolling onto one of our longer courses, we require all students to undertake our One Day Induction, the cost of which is deductible from any of our longer courses. One Day Induction - Required for all multi-day courses
Our Induction Days ran on the first Wednesday of every month (subject to availability) and are a pre-requisite to all of our longer courses. The day is designed for those who want to gain a basic understanding of what our longer courses entail and/or are trying to establish if a career in dog grooming is for them. The cost of this day is deducted from one of the longer course of your choice.

Health and safety induction and UK Animal Welfare Legislation
Handling and correct lifting techniques
Preparing and grooming dogs prior to bathing
Bathe and clean dogs
Drying dogs and preparing their coat for styling
Nail and ear care
Finishing and styling demonstration by a stylist
Students will receive all course materials and it is recommended that students bring along a camera for before and after photographs as well as pens, high-lighters and notepads.

OFQUAL Regulated Grooming Qualifications available.
This course is designed to provide you with the required skills to either become employed in a dog grooming environment or set up your own grooming business.
At an appropriate time during your training, you will be given the option to pursue a nationally accredited qualification in addition to those detailed above. You may, of course, choose to complete the training only and not gain a qualification other than the ones included.

The preparation, styling and finishing of dogs
Preparation for practical assessments
Theory study support

Snobby Dogs Salon Assistant Stylist Course - OFQUAL Regulated Qualifications Available
This course is designed to provide a basic introduction to dog grooming, it is the building blocks for an excellent career in dog grooming providing both the practical skills and the theory behind dog grooming Dog Grooming Assistants course gives you the basic skills you need to start working in a dog grooming environment under supervision.
THE COURSE WILL COVER
Correct handling and lifting of dogs
Health checking of a dog
Basic first aid
Preparing and grooming dogs prior to bathing
Bathing and cleaning dogs
Drying dogs and preparing their coats for styling
De-shedding techniques
Introduction to basic styling
Scissoring foot shapes
Nail and ear care
Cleaning and maintaining equipment used for grooming
Maintain the cleanliness and bio security of the animal care working environment in-line with health and safety

Snobby Dogs Refresh & Improve Dog Grooming Course - Level 3 Qualifications Available
The Snobby Dogs Refresh & Improve Dog Grooming Course is designed to assist qualified or experienced dog groomers in improving their grooming techniques and methods

One Day Owners Maintenance Course
Owners Maintenance Courses are ran on the first Tuesday of every month (subject to availability) and are designed for those who want to gain a very basic understanding of grooming and maintaining their own dog between professional grooming appointments.
You will need to bring along your own dog to work on for the day.
The course will cover:
Correct and safe grooming procedures prior to bathing
Safe and pain-free matt removal using appropriate products, tools and equipment
Correct and safe bathing and drying techniques
Nail and ear care
How to safely maintain your dog’s coat between their salon visits.
Students will receive all course materials and it is recommended that students bring along a camera for before and after photographs as well as pens, high-lighters and notepads.

OFQUAL Accredited Pet First Aid Course
A nationally accredited and certified Companion Animal CPCT and Pet First Aid Course for Pet Care Professionals.
This is a one day interactive seminar led by a qualified veterinary surgeon, veterinary nurse or suitably qualified pet care professional.
The interactive sessions provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills learning for anyone who works with and/or owns small companion animals. The course is delivered in a friendly and enjoyable environment that encourages learning.
THE COURSE:
Will allow you to follow the same procedures that a veterinary surgeon or nurse would employ if they were the first on the scene of an animal emergency
Is based on current scientific information
Is continuously monitored to ensure that the content is always up to date
COURSE RESOURCES INCLUDE:
Comprehensive course manual with extensive notes and references
Sample first aid kits and equipment including a wide selection of bandaging materials (for the use during the day only)
Realistic replica animals on which to practice bandaging and splinting
Resusci-pet manikins to allow hands-on practice assessment of vital signs, performing CPCR bandaging and transportation
Considerate use of live subjects is also available to practice assessment of vital signs and bandaging.
